One of Northern Michigan's foremost artists since 1977, Charles R. Murphy, has been painting in oil and watercolor since childhood. Murphy, whose work can be found in numerous galleries as well as many corporate and private collections worldwide, is also an accomplished and award-winning art educator.

In addition to his studio work in fine art, he has illustrated books for a number of authors. In 2010, Charles published his own book, "The Waking Hour", a collection of rhyming verse.
Charles R. Murphy has exhibited with the American Watercolor Society and the International Society of Experimental Artists.

These prints feature low acid paper, 80-year archival ink, mounted on foam core in a cellophane sleeve.

The price for the three sizes: 8x10 - $40, 11x14 - $80, and 16x20 - $200, signed in graphite by the artist. Add $5 for shipping and handling; prints will be available at the festival.
